“We decided to focus on single-family housing. With a focus on kinship and nature, we felt that Kin at Schonsee really drove home families being at the hub of our neighbourhood and being at a focal point,” said Jesse Lafrance of JL Developments, explaining how the community’s name of Kin at Schonsee came about. “With over 40 per cent of all of our lots having views of the wetlands and parks, it was a natural decision for us to focus on Kin being family.”
“Our community represents the first single family lots that directly back on to the existing 36-acre Schonsee Wetlands, '' said LaFrance. “It’s located on a quiet tree-lined street within the established and pretty vibrant neighbourhood of Schonsee.” The first Kin residents are expected to take occupancy this coming winter. There will be a variety of architectural styles to ensure an eclectic streetscape, said Lafrance, giving their builders and buyers a variety and choice of architectural stylings.
